Ferolle Point Lighthouse • Travel approximately 12 km along the Reef's Harbour side road to the community of New Ferolle. Turn left on a gravel road which takes you to the lighthouse at Ferolle Point where you can view icebergs and whales.

Plum Point Memorial Garden • Travel north along the Viking Trail to the community of Plum Point and visit the Plum Point Basque Memorial Garden on the right just past the Plum Point Motel.

Underground Salmon Pool • Follow the Viking Trail north to Route 432 - Roddickton/Main Brook. Turn right to drive "cross country" to the communities of Roddickton and Main Brook. Visit the underground salmon pool just 5km from the intersection of Routes 432 & 433.
Walking Trails

St. Margaret's Bay Hiking Trail • Across the highway from Tucker's Service Station is a 2km boardwalk which goes to the coast at the site where the first settlers in St. Margaret's Bay lived during the winter months. You might also see moose and other wild life.

The Thrombolites Walking Trail • Travel north on the Viking Trail to the community of Flower's Cove. Here you can follow a walking path over the Marjorie Bridge to Lawless' Point. [Read about Thrombolites]

Interpretation Centres

Bird Cove Interpretation Centre • Travel north about 12km on the Viking Trail and take a left to the community of Bird Cove. Here you can visit the museum showcasing artifacts from a local archeological dig as well as items from our local history.

Salmon Fishway Interpretation Centre • Travel south to the town of Hawkes Bay where you can visit the Salmon Interpretation Centre and the Atlantic Salmon Fishway and Viewing Chamber.
